GENERAL TRAVEL INFORMATION

Booking process
The trip must be booked in writing by one named person on behalf of all participants. After submitting your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation via email.

Arrival and Departure
Arrival and departure, whether by car, train or plane, must be organized individually and are not included in the travel price.

Rental bikes
Austria Cycling Tours and its partner travel agencies offer a convenient bike rental service. Select your preferred bike and specify your height when booking. Choose from classic 21-speed touring bikes, city bikes, or e-bikes. Other models, children's bikes, etc., are available upon request. Rental bikes must be booked before your trip to ensure they are ready. Please inspect your rental bike upon arrival and report any issues immediately to our service hotline.

Travel documents
You will receive comprehensive travel documents at your arrival hotel. These documents include a list of your booked hotels, vouchers for the hotels and any other booked services, a route description of the cycling route, well-prepared maps and information material, and luggage tags. The luggage tags are for your daily luggage transport. Please fill them out legibly and attach them to each piece of luggage.

Parking
Parking your vehicle for the entire duration of your cycling trip at your arrival hotel is possible, subject to availability and at an additional cost. Advance reservations are unfortunately not possible. Parking fees must be paid on site.

Luggage transfer
The package tour includes a convenient daily luggage transfer from hotel to hotel. Your luggage (one piece per person up to 20 kilograms) will be collected from your hotel reception and reliably transported to your next hotel. Please attach the provided luggage tags to your luggage and leave it at the hotel reception in good time.

return transfer
The return transfer by bus or train to the starting point of your cycling tour is not included and can therefore be booked separately for your preferred date at the prices listed. The transfer is possible with or without your own bicycle. You will receive the voucher for pre-booked transfers with your travel documents.

Children's discounts on the flat rate
0-3 years 100% (free in parents' bed)
4-9 years 50%
10-12 years 25%
The children's discounts only apply to accommodation in the same room with 2 full-paying adults.
The discounts do not apply to additional services such as transfers.

Rebooking
A processing fee of €70 per booking will be charged for any changes. Registered participants may be replaced by another person, provided they notify us at least 8 days before the start of the trip. If a replacement person takes the place of the registered participant, the original contract remains unaffected.

Cancellation policy
The cancellation fees are proportionate to the total price of the trip:
– up to 28 days before departure 20%
– from 27 to 8 day before departure 50%
– from 7 to 1 day before departure 80%
– Failure to start the trip or trip cancellation 100%

Complaints
Any complaints must be reported immediately so that the matter can be investigated and resolved on-site. Complaints and issues not reported immediately cannot be accepted later.

Other
Participation in a cycling tour is at your own risk. Minors may only participate if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Each participant is responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to meet the demands of the tour. Compliance with traffic regulations is also the responsibility of the participant. Should a change of route become necessary during the cycling tour (e.g., due to weather conditions, safety reasons, etc.), this does not entitle participants to a reduction in the tour price. Furthermore, there is no entitlement to a refund if the cycling tour is cancelled by the participant.

For easier readability, we use some abbreviations and symbols in our descriptions with the following meanings:
