Cycle comfortably on the Drau Cycle Path along the natural river bank to the lively district town of Villach, whose city center exudes southern flair. The beautiful city center with its cafes and shops invites you to stroll and linger. Or enjoy the hot water of the Kärnten Therme with its spacious wellness facilities in Warmbad Villach.

From Villach you cycle directly on the Drau past the Rosegg zoo. At the St. Jakob reservoir in the Rosental, you can watch wild birds perfectly in the bird view. The path continues along the Feistritz reservoir to Ferlach, where the gunsmith and hunting museum and the Carnica bee museum are well worth a visit. You can marvel at water from above in the beautiful Tscheppaschlucht gorge with its raging waterfalls.

Today you continue cycling along the Drau Cycle Path through the scenic, natural and bilingual Rosental. Enjoy the tranquility and the natural experience of autumn with the brightly colored forests. The Klopeiner See, the warmest bathing lake in Austria, awaits at the destination. Even at the beginning of October, it often still reaches pleasant temperatures of over 20 degrees or you can enjoy wellness in the new bath house.

Individual journey home, return transfer to Spittal / Drau or extension at Lake Klopein.
