DESCRIPTION:
Cycle around Carinthia's most popular lakes, the Ossiacher See, the well-known Wörthersee and the Klopeiner See and enjoy the sunny climate on the southern side of the Alps. During this pleasure bike tour you will stay 2 nights in your selected bike hotels. You can therefore plan your bike excursions according to your taste and have enough time to enjoy and swim. The crystal-clear bathing lakes are embedded in a beautiful mountain landscape and are pleasantly warm in summer (up to 28 degrees). There are comfortable cycle paths around the Carinthian lakes and the Drau cycle path can be used as a connection for the most part.

Parking: Free parking for the duration of the trip in a public, unguarded car park.
Parking spaces at the hotel cost approximately €15 per day, public parking garage: approximately €5 per day; parking fees are not included in the tour price.

Individual arrival in the Villach region and check-in at the hotel. Discover the lively old town or visit the spacious Kärnten Therme in Warmbad Villach (one entry from 16.00 p.m. with the Villach Adventure Card included).

Ossiacher See-Rundfahrt, approx. 45 km (2nd overnight stay in Villach)
Your cycling holiday begins with a tour around Lake Ossiach, whose cycle path mostly runs directly along the shore. Along the way, there are numerous attractions to discover: the Baroque Ossiach Abbey Church, the Bleistätter Moor Nature Reserve, the Domenig Stone House, a visit to a beach, or a ride on the scheduled boat (not included).

Villach - Krumpendorf / Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, approx. 40 to 55 km
Continue along the Drau Cycle Path to the popular resort town of Velden am Wörthersee, where Velden Castle and the beach promenade with its numerous cafés invite you to stroll. Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of this famous turquoise-blue bathing lake and cycle along the Wörthersee Cycle Path to your destination in Krumpendorf or Klagenfurt.

Wörthersee round trip, approx. 40 km (2nd overnight stay in Krumpendorf / Klagenfurt)
Start your tour around Lake Wörthersee with a visit to the Carinthian capital of Klagenfurt with its famous Lindwurm (Lindworm) or the Minimundus adventure park. On the south shore cycle path, be sure to stop in Maria Wörth and take a swim at a lido. For the return journey, you can take a scheduled boat or cycle back along the Keutschacher Seental cycle path.

Krumpendorf / Klagenfurt am Wörthersee - Klopeiner See, approx. 50 km
Via Maria Rain it goes back to the wonderful Drau cycle path and on to the gunmaking town of Ferlach. Cycling through the beautiful, natural Rosental, you will soon reach Europe's warmest swimming lake, the Klopeiner See.

Bathing day or 3-lake tour approx. 20 - 45 km (2nd overnight stay at Klopeiner See)
Use today to swim and relax at Lake Klopeiner and test the excellent water quality. Alternatively, you can choose from several bike rides, such as a round trip to the large Völkermarkt reservoir.
