Lavamünd - Sillian - Toblach - Sillian, approx. 36 km
After breakfast, you'll travel by our transfer bus (included in the price) to Sillian in East Tyrol. After your arrival around lunchtime, we recommend a bike ride across the Italian border to Toblach in South Tyrol, where the Drava River originates.

Sillian - Oberdrauburg, approx. 51 km
Accompanied by the panorama of the Dolomites, you cycle downstream along the Drau to the largest city in East Tyrol, Lienz. Take time to take a break in the enchanting city and enjoy the colorful hustle and bustle. Shortly after Nikolsdorf we cross the state border into Carinthia.

Oberdrauburg - Sachsenburg - Spittal/Drau, approx. 60 km
Today, the Drau cycle path takes you partly along the river bank, partly a little off the beaten track through smaller villages. Past the herb village of Irschen, it goes through Berg in the Drautal to Spittal an der Drau. There you can visit the beautiful Renaissance castle of Porcia.

Spittal/Drau - Villach - Rosegg, approx. 58 km
Halfway through, take a break at a lovely snack bar and refuel with Carinthian delicacies. Continue downstream along the Drau Cycle Path to Villach, a city with a southern flair. Treat yourself to a relaxing drink in the main square and cycle to the next inn in Rosegg.

Rosegg - Ferlach - Klopeiner See, approx. 60 km
Today the Drava cycle path takes you through the unspoilt Rosental valley on beautiful dam paths to Carinthia's warmest bathing lake, Lake Klopeiner. At the destination, relax with a swim in the clear water and enjoy your dinner at sunset by the lake.

Klopeiner See - Lavamünd, approx. 40 km
Today you will cycle along the large Völkermarkt reservoir, first to Ruden and then cross the Drau over the impressive 96m high Jauntal bridge. Visit the extraordinary Liaunig art museum in Neuhaus before cycling on to Lavamünd. The stage takes you through the so-called Had'n region (Had'n=buckwheat). During a cycling break, you can try a Had'n cake, for example.
