Shortly after the start of your bike tour, the first big adventure for the whole family awaits in Greifenburg: a climbing garden and the opportunity to fly over a small bathing lake in a "Flying Fox". Cycle comfortably and marvel at the nature on the river bank before you reach your stage destination in Sachsenburg.

Today you cycle comfortably on the Drau Cycle Path and pass Roman excavations in Lendorf, where the Teurnia Roman Museum can also be visited. In Spittal / Drau, the beautiful renaissance castle Porcia with its castle park is worth a visit, before a beautiful outdoor pool can be visited in Paternion.

The route of the Drau Cycle Path leads directly from one side of the valley to the other along the natural river bank. At the destination of the day, the Mediterranean-inspired old town of Villach, you can reward your children with a delicious Italian gelati in one of the numerous ice cream shops. A visit to the spacious Kärnten Therme in Warmbad Villach is also a hot tip.

We recommend a bike trip to a lido at the following nearby bathing lakes: You can choose from the Silbersee, which is close to the Drau Cycle Path (approx. 10km there and back), the bright turquoise-green Faaker See (approx. 15km there and back) or the Ossiacher See (approx 30 km), where you can also take a boat trip.
