DESCRIPTION:

This ten-day leisurely bike tour from Spittal/Drau combines exploring the most famous Carinthian lakes: Lake Millstatt, Lake Ossiach, the fashionable Wörthersee and the shimmering turquoise Lake Faak. These enchanting bathing lakes surrounded by mighty mountain scenery will fascinate you just as much as the traditional towns of Villach, Klagenfurt and St. Veit/Glan. An absolute highlight is a detour to the castle town of Friesach and the mighty Hochosterwitz Castle, one of the largest in Central Europe.

But bathing and enjoyment are not neglected either, in between there is always time to relax in the well-tempered water and to taste Carinthian specialties. A trip around Lake Wörthersee is also on the agenda, as is a stroll through the provincial capital of Klagenfurt. Finally, you return to the starting point in Spittal/Drau along the beautiful Drau cycle path.
