The Lake Constance Cycle Path is very family-friendly, and the Lake Constance Highlights Cycle Tour starting in Bregenz is also suitable for families with children thanks to its short stages. Discover the scenic and cultural diversity of Austria, Switzerland, and Germany on this cycling tour. With approximately 40 kilometers per stage, there's plenty of time to visit the sights or simply take a refreshing dip in Lake Constance. Experience, for example, the world-famous flower island of Mainau, the medieval town of Meersburg, and the port cities of Bregenz, Constance, Friedrichshafen, and Lindau.

Bregenz - Rohrschach/Arbon, approx. 40 km
Start your bike tour on the Lake Constance cycle path - passing several beach resorts and the Mehrerau monastery - through the "Altenrhein estuary" nature reserve towards Switzerland. Mostly directly along the lake shore, you will soon reach your destination for the day, and you should not miss a stroll through the medieval old town of Arbon.

Rohrschach/Arbon - Konstanz/Kreuzlingen, approx. 37 km
After today's cycling stage to Konstanz/Kreuzlingen, we recommend visiting the nearby, unique UNESCO World Heritage Site of Reichenau Monastery Island. If you prefer something more leisurely, you can relax in one of the many typical local cafes or restaurants after sightseeing in Konstanz with its many sights.

Konstanz/Kreuzlingen - Mainau - Friedrichshafen, approx. 33 km, 1 ferry ride
Today, several highlights await you: a visit to the famous flower island of Mainau with its magnificent parks and then a ferry ride to the medieval town of Meersburg. The tour continues along the Lake Constance cycle path to Friedrichshafen with its famous customs office building, the castle church and the Zeppelin Museum. Those who make a 10 km detour will be rewarded with the stilt houses in Uhldingen.

Friedrichshafen - Lindau - Bregenz, approx. 35 km
Continue cycling past the towns of Langenargen and Wasserburg to the beautiful town of Lindau. The island town is known for its historic old town, its narrow streets and the lighthouse at the harbor. Then continue cycling along Lake Constance and return to Bregenz, the final destination of your international cycling trip.
