The mountains of the region are an extraordinary hiker's paradise. The Dobratsch and the Gerlitzen Alpe are also popular destinations for racing cyclists looking for challenging mountain roads. Nine warm lakes with clean drinking water promise pure bathing fun and offer the ideal refreshment after a long tour. The lakes can also be wonderfully circumnavigated by bike, and the 29 km long route around Lake Ossiacher See is particularly family-friendly and can also be shortened by boat.

The center is Villach with its charming old town, just the thing for strollers and those interested in culture! The city is located directly on the Drau, Gail and Alpe-Adria cycle paths and is an ideal starting point for your cycling holiday. One way to recover from long bike tours is a short detour to the KärntenTherme Warmbad-Villach.
