Cycling from one lake to another

Discover Austria's beautiful lake landscape by bike. The picturesque bathing lakes in the Salzkammergut and Carinthia can be explored on well-developed cycle paths on enjoyable circular tours. And the two largest Austrian lakes, Lake Constance and Lake Neusiedl, can be perfectly circled and are worth a cycling trip of their own. Even on tours, you cycle to a new destination every day and in the late afternoon your luggage is already waiting at your accommodation.

Austria Cycling Tours offers a selection of 6- or 8-day circular tours in the Salzkammergut region , starting from Salzburg, Bad Ischl, or Strobl on Lake Wolfgang. A particular highlight is the cross-border Lake Constance tour starting in Bregenz. On the Tauern Cycle Path tour, also starting in Salzburg, you'll explore the Salzburg region and see, among other places, Zell am See and the impressive Krimml Waterfalls.

In Carinthia, you can choose between 6-, 8-, or 10-day circular tours starting from Villach or Spittal/Drau. The special " Carinthian Lakes Biking " tour leads along the Great Carinthian Lakes Loop to seven lakes in seven days.
